Why I developed this tool
I didn’t create Superpower CV because I wanted
to build another career tool. I created it because
I know what it feels like to lose your footing
— professionally and personally and not know
how to explain your value anymore.
During COVID, I lost my dream job as a middle
level manager for a small business and social
enterprise organisation. That hurt alot. I then went
through two lots of lost contract work, endless
rounds of job interviews and finally landed working
on a start-up business which I did for 4 years. That took alot out of me. And when that also came to an end I was left once again dusting off my cv looking at how I could make sense of it and how to position myself for work again.
On paper, I looked fine. In reality, I sounded like everyone else.
And that messes with you.
So I know what it feels like to live buried under frustration unsure of the next step, questioning your own value.
